In April, 2024, Action Synergy and Topos Allou Theatre hosted a kick – off meeting for CINEMATOMEDIA project in Athens.
CINEMATOMEDIA is an EU-funded project which aims to is to build the capacity of youth organizations, especially in Middle East and North Africa, to use cinema as a tool in order to promote political and democratic participation of young people.
The consortium consists of partners from Greece, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, France and Germany.
They spent 2 days breaking down the terms, discussing the details and framework of the project, as well as experimented different pedagogies on how to engage young people to actively take part in the project.
